All-new Suzuki V-Strom 700 spied testing ahead of unveil

The new 700cc V-Strom could make its global debut at the 2022 EICMA trade show in November.

Suzuki Motorcycles is said to be testing its latest iteration of the V-Strom ADV for the overseas market. The test mules of the upcoming motorcycle showcase a heavily camouflaged motorcycle featuring Suzuki's all-new 700cc parallel-twin engine.

The new 700cc parallel-twin engine has already been patented by Suzuki and is expected to replace the current 645cc V-twin engine. Suzuki is yet to reveal the power and torque figures from the new parallel-twin engine.

While the spy images don't reveal much, the test mule can be seen sporting a pair of golden USD forks up front, replacing the telescopic unit on the V-Strom 650. The motorcycle can also be seen with a dual-disc setup at the front and a single disc at the back, which will be supported by dual-channel ABS. The test mule also seems to be running on large front wheels, which could make it onto the final production version.

Reports also state that with the introduction of the new parallel-twin engine, the upcoming V-Strom 700 will feature a new platform. This could allow Suzuki to introduce a range of middleweight models, including a naked streetfighter with the new parallel-twin engine.

The new 700cc V-Strom could make its global debut at the 2022 EICMA trade show in November. Also, with the V-Strom 650 on sale in India, expect the new 700cc ADV to make it to our shores as well. The new Suzuki V-Strom 700 will rival the likes of the Kawasaki Versys 650 and the Triumph Tiger 660.
