All vehicle segments register de-growth in April 2019

As per the vehicle registration data released by the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA), vehicle sales continued their downward trend in the month of April 2019.

2-wheeler sales were down by 4% at 12,85,470 units compared to the previous month. The personal vehicle segment also registered a marginal de-growth of 2%. 2,42,457 units were sold in April 2019 compared to 2,46,615 units in the previous month. 

3-wheeler sales were down by 12% from 53,573 in March 2019 to 47,183 units in the last month. While the commercial vehicle segment saw a slight growth of 2% compared to the previous month, sales were down by 16% compared to the same period last year.
