Anand Mahindra tweets about car-crazy India & XUV700 crowds

With just a few hours left for the Mahindra XUV700 to go on sale in India, it seems crowds are thronging showrooms to check out the car.

Even Anand Mahindra was amazed by the response and tweeted these images. The large crowds had gathered at a Bangalore dealership after the XUV700 was put on display.

In his tweet, Mahindra said, "You don't need much more evidence to know that we Indians are car-crazy".

Bookings for the XUV700 open on October 7, 2021. The SUV is available in two trim levels - MX Series and AX Series with prices starting at Rs. 11.99 lakh.

Earlier this week, Mahindra also announced a new top-spec AX7 Luxury all-wheel drive variant. It costs Rs. 22.89 lakh (ex-showroom).
