Audi sets up green energy-powered ultra-fast charger in Mumbai

Audi e-tron owners will be able to access this charger free of cost till March 2024.

Audi has inaugurated what is said to be India’s first ultra-fast charging station in Mumbai. More importantly, it is completely powered by renewable energy.

The Audi ‘e-tron hub’ is located at MMRDA parking, G Block, Next to The Capital, Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC). There are 5 charging bays and an integrated lounge with 24x7 access.

Developed in collaboration with ChargeZone, this ultra-fast charger has a total capacity of 450 kW to deliver 360 kW of power. It comes with a 500A liquid-cooled gun that is said to ensure high performance and efficiency.

The peripheral electrical requirements of the charging station, including lighting are met by a solar panel mounted on the roof.

Audi e-tron owners will be able to access this charger free of cost till March 2024. It will be open to all electric vehicles.
