Auto Expo 2023: MG4 electric hatchback unveiled

The MG4 is available with two battery options offering up to 451 km of range (WLTP cycle).

MG has showcased the MG4 electric hatchback at the ongoing Auto Expo 2023.

The MG4 is based on the brand’s Modular Scalable Platform (MSP) architecture. The car measures 4,287 mm in length, 1,836 mm in width and 1,506 mm in height and has a 2,705 mm wheelbase. 

In terms of design, the MG4 features sharp looks with aggressively designed LED headlamps. The car has a glass roof, full-width LED tail lights, a rear skid plate and aero-style alloy wheels. Inside, the MG4 features a free-standing infotainment screen at the centre, a digital instrument cluster, a two-spoke steering wheel and loads of other features.

In the international market, the MG4 is available with two battery options. The 51 kWh battery pack is paired with a 167 BHP electric motor, while the 64 kWh battery is offered with a 201 BHP electric motor. The dual-motor version with 443 BHP also gets the larger battery pack. The company claims a WLTP range of 350-451 km.
