Bajaj to launch Pulsar CS400 next?

Bajaj Auto has hinted that its next launch will be a bigger motorcycle than anything it is currently offering. This could mean that the company is planning to introduce the production version of Pulsar CS400 concept, which was revealed at the 2014 Auto Expo.

The Pulsar CS400 (CS stands for Cruiser Sport) is based on the KTM Duke 390 and uses the same 373.4cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, four stroke, fuel injected engine mated to a 6-speed transmission. While power figures have not been disclosed, the engine is expected to produce around 40 BHP.

The CS400 concept had single disc brakes at the front and rear with ABS, an inverted front suspension, monoshock rear suspension, a short, side-mounted exhaust, all-digital instrumentation, an LCD display unit on the fuel tank, alloy wheels and all LED lamps.

The Pulsar CS400 is expected to be priced lower than the Duke 390.
