Benelli MotoBi-250 Patagonian Eagle spotted in India

Earlier this month, we had reported that Benelli had started testing the Zafferano scooter in India. Now, spy images of a Benelli MotoBi-250 Patagonian Eagle motorcycle, which was spotted in Pune, have surfaced on the internet. This has led to speculations that the bike could be DSK-Benelli's next offering in the Indian market.

The MotoBi-250 is a typical cruiser bike with a long wheelbase (1,460 mm), low seating position with a stepped seat and raised handle bars. It measures 2,180 mm in length, 970 mm in width and 1,180 mm in height. It has a dry weight of 145 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 14 litres.

The MotoBi-250 Patagonian Eagle is currently on sale in Indonesia. It is powered by a 251.8cc, parallel-twin cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 17.4 BHP @ 8,000 rpm and 16.5 Nm @ 6,000 rpm. The carburetted engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The motorcycle uses a 120 mm telescopic fork suspension at the front and 70 mm oil-damped coil springs at the rear. It comes equipped with a disc and drum brake at the front and rear respectively.

There is no official confirmation from DSK-Benelli regarding the launch of the MotoBi-250 Patagonian Eagle in India.
