BMW i7 M70 xDrive launched at Rs 2.50 crore

The i7 M70 xDrive features a dual-motor setup generating 657 BHP and 1100 Nm.

BMW has launched i7 M70 xDrive in India. The electric sedan is priced at Rs 2.50 crore (ex-showroom) and will be imported as a completely built unit (CBU).

The BMW i7 is based on the seventh-generation 7 Series. The M70 xDrive comes in a dual-tone colour scheme with BMW’s signature kidney grille up front and 21-inch alloy wheels. It also gets a few M-specific cosmetic bits, including side skirts, front fenders, ORVMs and a rear spoiler.

Inside, the i7 M70 features a sleek, minimalistic dashboard with dual screens and a massive roof-mounted 31-inch 8K retractable touchscreen in the rear. There are additional 5.5-inch touchscreens on the rear doors. Other features include automatic climate control, wireless charger, ambient lighting and a 36-speaker Bowers & Wilkins sound system.

The i7 M70 xDrive features a dual-motor setup generating 657 BHP and 1100 Nm. It is powered by a 101.7 kWh battery pack offering a range of 560 km. BMW claims the i7 M70 can sprint from 0-100 km/h in 3.7 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h.
