BMW launches 6 Series Gran Coupe facelift at Rs. 1.15 crore

German luxury carmaker BMW, has launched the 6 Series Gran Coupe facelift in India. The car is available in two trim levels - 640d Eminence and 640d Design Pure Experience. While the former is priced at Rs. 1,14,90,000, the latter costs Rs. 1,21,90,000 (ex-showroom, India).

The car has been given some cosmetic changes as well as additional equipment. Changes to the exterior include a new kidney grille with 9 slats instead of 10, restyled front and rear bumpers, redesigned alloy wheels and new LED headlamps.

The BMW Design Pure Experience package adds exclusive alloy wheels, LED fog lights, Shadow Line and dark chrome exhaust pipes. The radiator grille slats, air inlet surrounds and insert on the bumpers are also finished in dark chrome.

The refreshed 6 Series Gran Coupe is available in one non-metallic body colour -Alpine White and nine metallic shades - Black Sapphire, Cashmere Silver, Glacier Silver, Space Grey, Jatoba, Melbourne Red, Mediterranean Blue and Mineral White.

On the inside the 6 Series Gran Coupe comes with Dakota and Nappa leather upholstery in Black and Ivory White colour combinations. Interior trims offered are Fineline Brown and Fine-wood trim Poplar Grain Grey. Other features in the interior include ambient lighting and a sports leather steering wheel with paddle shifters.

The 6 Series Gran Coupe is powered by a 2,993cc, 6-cylinder diesel engine that puts out 308 BHP @ 4,400 rpm and 630 Nm @ 1,500-2500 rpm.

The BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe is brought to India through the CBU route.
