Brazil: Jeep Compass facelift details out

New details of the upcoming Jeep Compass facelift have surfaced online.

According to a media report, the updated Compass is expected to receive new headlights and a revised grille and front bumper. At the rear, it is likely to get a new bumper and reworked LED tail lights.

On the inside, the new Compass is likely to come with a new infotainment system. In Brazil, the car could be offered with driver assistance systems like lane keep assist and adaptive cruise control.

The report suggest that the Brazil-spec Compass facelift could get a 1.3-litre Firefly T4 flex fuel (dual fuel) engine. It is likely to get a new continuously variable transmission (CVT) and is expected to be front-wheel drive. It is still not clear if the Sport version would get a 2.0-litre flex fuel motor paired with a 6-speed Aisin gearbox.
