Checked out the new 2025 Kodiaq: Comparing it to my outgoing car

Centre console screen feels not a part of dash - stick-on is evident & is not physically integrated with dashboard.

BHPian SilverSmoke recently shared this with other enthusiasts:

Saw New Kodiaq in flesh for the first time. Comparing it to previous generation 2.0 TSI.

Pros:

1. Seats are more comfortable.

2. Interior color now more suitable for abuse than previous L&K.

3. Mechanical switches at console.

4. Bigger console screen.

5. Fresh exterior colors to offer.

6. New gear stick to the right of steering wheel.

7. Might be offered in diesel.

8. Ethanol compatibility.

Cons:

1. Same engine & tranmission.

2. Plastics & dash board material are downgrade.

3. Alloys with unnecessary & unworthy plastic semi-covers - can be removed though.

4. Rear is over-done.

5. No vRS on offer.

6. Steering wheel is downgraded.

7. Centre console screen feels not a part of dash - stick-on is evident & is not physically integrated with dashboard.

8. Internal door opening handles are downgraded - feels flimsy.
