Electric Ford GT40 replica with 800 BHP revealed

Everrati states that the electric GT40 can be opted with the official 'Gulf livery' as well.

Everrati - a UK based electric restomod company, has revealed its latest creation, an all-electric Ford GT40.

The company has partnered with US-based Superformance to build the electric version of the iconic Le Mans-winning car. Superformance specialises in continuations of many American classic cars and will be responsible for building the chassis and shells of the electric GT40, while Everrati handles the EV powertrain.

The electric GT40 is said to feature a 46 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, which claims to offer 800 BHP and 800 Nm. Everrati also claims that the electric Ford GT40 will be capable of sprinting from 0 - 100 km/h in under 4 seconds and offer a range of over 200 km.

The electric GT40 will also come packed with a host of features as standard. This includes two driving modes (Comfort & Sport), original-style seats, disc brakes on all four wheels, Bilstein coil-over springs and active sound performance exhaust, among a few others. Everrati states that the electric GT40 can be opted with the official 'Gulf livery' as well.

Everrati had previously revealed an electric version of the iconic 964-generation Porsche 911. The Porsche 911 restomod featured an electric powertrain, producing 500 BHP / 500 Nm and offered a range of 150 km on a single charge.
