FanCode to stream F1 races in India; watch a race for Rs 49

The 2024 F1 season kicks off this weekend with the opening race in Bahrain.

Indian sports OTT platform, FanCode, has secured the broadcast rights to stream Formula 1 races in India for the 2024 and 2025 seasons.

FanCode will stream all practice and qualifying sessions, F1 sprint races and the main race throughout the season. Viewers can watch a race for just Rs 49, while a season pass costs Rs 899. However, viewers can avail of an inaugural discount of Rs 300 on the season pass.

F1’s broadcast agreement with Star Sports expired at the end of the 2022 season. This also meant that fans could no longer watch the live stream on Hotstar. The only place one could watch the races was on F1TV, which costs $19.99 for the Access Plan and a 1 year F1TV Pro subscription costs $29.99.
