Formula 1 2024: BHPians share their favourite team liveries

It’s estimated that the paint on F1 cars weighs approximately 6 kilograms. This is something most teams want to reduce to go faster.

BHPian Omkar recently shared this with other enthusiasts.

2023 was the year of Max Verstappen and Red Bull. After obliterating numerous records, we enter into a fresh new season of Formula 1 starting with the testing session in Bahrain on the 21st of February. But before that, all the teams have officially revealed their liveries for the upcoming season and things are rather interesting.

It’s estimated that the paint on F1 cars weighs approximately 6 kilograms. This is something most teams want to reduce to go faster. This is the reason why we’ve been seeing a lot of manufacturers using less paint and more exposed carbon fibre in the quest to reduce weight. For most cars, black has been replaced with exposed carbon fibre and on some cars, that’s all there is left. Even this year, the pink and blue Alpine car barely has any pink. It just looks like a black car with stickers. And now that all the constructors have revealed their liveries, which one do you think looks the best?

Here's what BHPian Amsdoc had to say on the matter:

Not impressed with the black/carbon fibre heavy livery of most of the cars this year. The Williams actually looks good. The Aston pics I saw looked better than the one seen here. But the Ferrari looks yummy this year with the flowing yellow/white stipes and the overall effect.
