Formula 1: Rosberg wins Chinese Grand Prix

Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg has won the 2016 Chinese Grand Prix. Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel finished second, while Red Bull's Daniil Kvyat took third place. With this win, Rosberg has maintained his winning streak in the 2016 season of Formula 1.

The start of the race saw Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo take the lead from Nico Rosberg. However, the Mercedes driver passed him in the DRS zone. Ricciardo also picked up a puncture on lap three. Eventually, he brought his car home in fourth position.

The first corner saw contact between Vettel and his teammate Kimi Raikkonen, which caused the former to drop down the order. The collision between the two Ferraris was a result of Vettel trying to avoid contact with Kvyat, who was attempting to overtake him on the inside.

Rosberg's teammate Lewis Hamilton started from the back of the grid after an engine change. The reigning champion did not have much luck on the first lap either, as he made contact with Filipe Nasr's Sauber. With all the incidents, there was a lot of debris on the track and the safety car was pressed into action.

Vettel and Raikkonen fought back and claimed second and fifth places respectively, while Hamilton managed to finish seventh. Filipe Massa (Williams) finished sixth with the Toro Rossos of Max Verstappen and Carlos Sainz came in eight and ninth respectively. Valtteri Bottas (Williams) rounded up the top ten.

After three races, Rosberg leads the World Drivers' Championship with 75 points. Hamilton is in the second position with 39 points and Ricciardo in third with 36 points. Mercedes continues to lead the World Constructors' Championship with 114 points. Ferrari is in second place with 61 points and Red Bull is in third with 57 points.
