The route takes the participants to Chandigarh, McLeod Ganj, Manali, Kaza, Spiti Valley, Sangla, Shimla, Mussoorie, Rishikesh, Rudraprayag and Nainital. The cars then cross the border into Nepal visiting Bardia, Pokhara, Kathmandu and Chitwan. The rally then heads back to India driving through Lucknow before ending in Agra. Rest days have been scheduled in Manali, Shimla and Kathmandu. A dinner and a prize-giving ceremony will be held at the Oberoi Amarvilas in Agra after the end of the rally.

Only drivers who have taken part in previous endurance rallies are eligible for this event. All cars have to be well-maintained and are required to be equipped with GPS, rollover bars, fire extinguishers, first aid kit and the necessary spares. A support vehicle with skilled mechanics follows the rally to assist in the event of a breakdown.
