The second generation Honda Amaze was launched in May 2018 at an introductory price of Rs. 5.59 lakh (ex-showroom, India). With the introductory period over, prices of the Amaze have been hiked by around Rs. 20,000 on average.

The Amaze is available in 6 petrol and 6 diesel variants. The entry-level petrol variant now costs Rs. 5.80 lakh, while the base diesel is priced at Rs. 6.90 lakh.

If you compare the variant-wise ex-showroom prices of the Amaze with the Maruti Dzire, the base petrol variant of the latter is Rs. 24,500 cheaper than the Honda. However, the VX MT variant of the Amaze is cheaper than the ZXi+ MT variant of the Dzire by Rs. 27,499.

Similarly, the base diesel version of the Amaze costs Rs. 34,500 more than the Dzire LDi but the top-spec VX MT diesel is cheaper than the ZDi+ variant by Rs. 17,500. The price difference between the Amaze CVT variants and the Dzire AMT is almost Rs. 60,000, with the latter being the cheaper of the two.
