Honda Cars India appoints Takuya Tsumura as President & CEO

Tsumura replaces Gaku Nakanishi, who completes his four-year term as the head of Honda Cars India.

Honda Cars India has appointed Takuya Tsumura as their new President and CEO. He will take charge of his new role from April 1, 2022.

Tsumura replaces Gaku Nakanishi, who completes his four-year term as the head of Honda Cars India. He has been appointed as General Manager, Automobile Business, Asia and Oceania region - Asian Honda.

Tsumura has been working with Honda for more than 30 years. He has held top posts in several international markets including Thailand, Australia, China, Japan, Turkey, Europe and Asia & Oceania regions. From 1997 to 2000, Tsumura was in-charge of South Asian countries, including India.
