Hyundai Exter bookings open in India; 5 variants & 3 powertrains

The Hyundai Exter will be available in 1.2L Petrol MT, 1.2L Petrol AMT and 1.2L CNG MT variants.

Hyundai has opened bookings for the Exter crossover in India. The car will be available in five variants and three powertrain options. The booking amount has been set at Rs 11,000.

The Hyundai Exter will be available in EX, S, SX, SX(O) and SX(O) Connect trims. The car features a rugged look with an upright front fascia featuring a prominent Parametric grille, H-shaped LED daytime running lights and projector headlamps positioned in square pods on the front bumper.

At the rear, the car gets wraparound tail lamps with the 'H' graphic and a piano black strip connecting the two clusters. It has a chunky rear bumper with black trim, a silver skid plate, and dual exhausts. The car also gets blacked-out A and B-pillars, roof rails, squared-off wheel arches with diamond-cut alloy wheels and pull-type door handles.

In India, the Exter will be available with a 1.2-litre petrol engine mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT and a CNG version equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission.

The Exter will be offered in six monotone and three dual-tone colour options, including two new shades of Cosmic Blue and Ranger Khaki.
