Hyundai Grand i10 CNG & Xcent CNG recalled

Hyundai has recalled the CNG variants of the Grand i10 and Xcent for a possible CNG filter assembly issue.

16,409 vehicles manufactured between August 1, 2017 and September 30, 2019 are affected by this recall.

Hyundai will be reaching out to owners of the affected vehicles from November 25 onwards. The company will be replacing the the CNG filter assembly free of cost.

The Grand i10 and Xcent use a 1.2-litre petrol engine that produces 65 BHP and 98 Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
