Hyundai Ioniq 5 N to be unveiled in July at Goodwood FoS

The Goodwood Festival of Speed is scheduled to take place in the UK between July 13 - 16, 2023.

Hyundai has announced that its first electric performance car, the Ioniq 5 N, will make its global debut at this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The new Hyundai Ioniq 5 N has been spied testing on multiple occasions. The car will come with a number of N-specific upgrades and will also be the first all-wheel-drive N car from the brand.

Reports suggest that the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N could share its electric powertrain with the Kia EV6 GT. Having said that, the Ioniq 5 N could offer a slightly higher power output in the range of around 600 BHP. This is a significant jump compared to the entry-level Ioniq 5, which has 168 BHP and takes 8.5 seconds to reach 100 km/h.

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 N will also come with a feature called 'N-Drift Optimiser', which tweaks the torque distribution between the two axles, steering effort, suspension and the e-LSD on the rear axle.

The Goodwood Festival of Speed is scheduled to take place in the UK between July 13 - 16, 2023. Hyundai is expected to make demonstration runs up the hill climb while also showcasing a few examples in the display area.
