India's first 5th-gen Toyota Supra spotted in Mumbai

The first 5th-gen Toyota Supra in India has spotted in Mumbai. The sports car has been finished in yellow.

The fifth generation Supra shares its underpinnings with the BMW Z4. The car gets LED headlights, flared wheel arches, and a lip spoiler. Depending on the variant, it comes with 17, 18 and 19-inch alloy wheels.

The Japanese-spec Supra will be powered by a choice of 3.0-litre inline six or 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engines. The 6-cylinder unit puts out 335 BHP @ 5,000-6,500 rpm and 500 Nm of torque @ 1,600-4,500 rpm. The 4-cylinder engine is available in 2 states of tune - 255 BHP / 400 Nm and 194 BHP / 320 Nm. Power is sent to the rear wheels via an 8-speed automatic gearbox. Toyota claims that the larger engine will propel the Supra from 0-100 km/h in 4.3 seconds.
