Ken Block's 1400 BHP Porsche 911 'Hoonipigasus' unveiled

The Hoonipigasus will participate in the PPO (Pikes Peak Open) Class, scheduled to be held on June 26.

Ken Block & Porsche have unveiled their all-new one-off custom build, called the Hoonipigasus.

The Hoonipigasus is a unique racecar built by BBi Autosport. It is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo flat-six engine producing 1400 BHP, sending power to both axles. The custom-made racecar weighs in at just 1000 kilograms. BBi Autosport has also engineered a height-adjustable suspension that uses GPS coordinates based on last year's Pikes Peak telemetry.

The custom-built racecar comes with a unique pink livery, paying homage to the Porsche 917/20 'Pink Pig'. The Hoonipigasus will participate in the PPO (Pikes Peak Open) Class, scheduled to be held on June 26, with Ken Block tasked to take the custom racecar to the summit.

This isn't the first time Ken Block has taken on Pikes Peak. His first attempt was back in 2005, using a 200 BHP Group N rally car. In 2017, he debuted his "Climbkhana: Pikes Peak Film", where he got behind the wheel of his 1965 Ford Mustang Hoonicorn RTR V2, which was also powered by a twin-turbo 1400 BHP engine.
