Kia Carens prices hiked by up to Rs. 60,000

The Carens is available in five variants with prices ranging from Rs. 9.60 lakh to Rs. 17.70 lakh (ex-showroom).

Kia has silently increased the prices of the Carens by up to Rs. 60,000.

The Kia Carens is available in five trims - Premium, Prestige, Prestige Plus, Luxury and Luxury Plus, with prices starting at Rs. 9.60 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Carens was launched in February this year. The 7-seater shares its underpinnings with the Kia Seltos. It also gets the same engine options which include a 1.5-litre petrol engine producing 113 BHP and 144 Nm, a 1.4-litre turbo-petrol with 138 BHP and 242 Nm and a 1.5-litre diesel that puts out 113 BHP and 250 Nm. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual, 7-speed dual-clutch automatic and a 6-speed torque converter automatic.

The Carens is available in 6 and 7-seat configurations. It comes with features such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with an 8-speaker Bose audio system, a digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, automatic climate control with an air purifier and retractable rear trays with cupholders; among others.
