Kia Picanto facelift unveiled

Kia has unveiled the updated Picanto hatchback. In addition to updated styling, the Picanto also comes with new features.

The new Picanto gets revised headlights with four LED daytime running lights surrounding the projector head lamp. The car has Kia's 'tiger nose' grille and a dual-tone front bumper that has large vents on either side and silver inserts.

At the rear, the Picanto gets new LED tail lights, a redesigned rear bumper and chrome exhaust tip. The car comes with dual-tone alloy wheels and has a shark fin antenna.

On the inside, the new Picanto comes with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit. It has features like Bluetooth and smartphone connectivity.

Powering the Picanto is a 1.0-litre, naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 75 BHP and 95 Nm and comes paired with either a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic gearbox.

At present, Kia has no plans to launch the Picanto in India.
