Kia Seltos facelift spied testing ahead of unveil

Mechanically, the Kia Seltos facelift is expected to remain unchanged.

Kia is working on a facelift version of its popular Seltos SUV. The updated Kia Seltos has been spied undergoing winter testing in Europe, ahead of its international launch.

The test mule in the spy images showcases a heavily camouflaged Seltos, revealing very little detail of the upcoming SUV. However, the upcoming Seltos is expected to feature a tweaked front end with updates to the headlamps, bumper and front grille. The SUV can also be seen sporting a new set of alloy wheels, while the rear will also come with mild design changes.

Similarly, Kia is also expected to update the interiors of the Seltos, offering a number of subtle tweaks to the dashboard layout, along with the addition of a bunch of new features and tech.

Mechanically, the Kia Seltos facelift is expected to remain unchanged. The US-spec Seltos, as seen in the spy images, will carry forward the same petrol engines. These include a 2.0-litre naturally-aspirated petrol and a 1.6-litre turbo-petrol unit.

Kia is also expected to update the Seltos in India. The India-spec facelift could also feature similar updates but will continue to be powered by the 1.5-litre petrol, 1.4-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines.
