Kia Sonet GTX+ Petrol DCT & Diesel AT cost Rs. 12.89 lakh

Prices for the top-spec automatic variants of the Kia Sonet are out.

Kia has announced the prices for the top-spec petrol and diesel automatic variants of the Sonet. The GTX+ Petrol DCT and GTX+ Diesel AT variants are priced at Rs. 12.89 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

The Sonet is available in two trims - Tech Line and GT Line. The GTX+ is the highest variant of the GT Line trim. It gets a dual-tone exterior with red highlights, LED headlights, LED tail lights, sunroof and dual-tone alloy wheels.

It also gets features such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity and UVO Connect features, ventilated front seats, wireless charging with cooling function, air purifier with display, automatic climate control with rear air-con vents, 7-speaker Bose audio system, ambient lighting, cruise control and digital speedometer. The GT Line trim also comes with three driving modes - Normal, Eco and Sport.

The Sonet GTX+ Petrol DCT comes with a 1.0-litre, turbo-petrol engine which makes 118 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 172 Nm @ 1,500-4,000 rpm. It is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The same engine is also available with the new 6-speed iMT.

The Sonet GTX+ Diesel AT is powered by a 1.5-litre engine that puts out 113 BHP @ 4,000 rpm and 250 Nm @ 1,500-2,750 rpm and comes paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
