Land Cruiser 300 interior & exterior images leaked

Scheduled to premier by mid-2021, the flagship SUV of the Japanese carmaker is more of an evolution in design than a complete revamp.

Images of what appears to be the new 2021 Land Cruiser 300 have leaked online. Scheduled to premier by mid-2021, the flagship SUV of the Japanese carmaker is more of an evolution in design than a complete revamp.

Changes on the outside include triple array LED headlamps, an upright fascia with larger, aggressive 4-slot grille, new tail lamps and redesigned bumpers with bigger air scoops.

On the inside, the SUV gets a 12.3 inch touchscreen head-unit, physical buttons for AC, heated steering and cooled front seats below the screen, a larger multifunction driver display and an electric parking brake amongst others. It is claimed that the start/stop button will have an in-built fingerprint scanner to identity different drivers and adjust the settings as per their preferences.

The Land Cruiser 300 is expected to be offered with 4-cylinder and 6-cylinder diesel and petrol engines as well as a 3.5-litre twin-turbo petrol hybrid option from the Lexus LS500h. There will be no V8 offerings on this SUV this time around.
