Land Rover Discovery Metropolitan Edition bookings open

The Discovery Metropolitan Edition is based on the R-Dynamic HSE trim and comes with a choice of petrol and diesel engines.

Land Rover has started accepting bookings for the Discovery Metropolitan Edition in India. The SUV is available with petrol and diesel engine options with prices starting at Rs. 1.26 crore (ex-showroom).

The Metropolitan Edition is positioned at the top of the Discovery range. It is based on the R-Dynamic HSE trim and comes with Bright Atlas detailing on the radiator grille, and Hakuba Silver lower bumper inserts. The SUV rides on 20-inch Satin Dark Grey wheels and has black brake calipers.

The Discovery Metropolitan Edition is offered with features such as a sliding front sunroof and a fixed rear panoramic roof, 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit, wireless charging, front cooler compartment, 4-zone automatic climate control, air purifier, and a heated steering wheel.

The Metropolitan Edition is available with a 3.0-litre, 6-cylinder petrol engine producing 355 BHP and 500 Nm and a 3.0-litre, 6-cylinder diesel unit that makes 296 BHP and 650 Nm. Both engines are paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive with Land Rover's Terrain Response 2 system.
