Lexus TX teased ahead of unveil; to rival GLS & X7

The release of the official teaser indicates that Lexus could unveil the TX very soon.

Lexus has released the first teaser of the TX - a brand-new three-row SUV built in the USA.

The luxury Japanese car brand hasn't released any details of the upcoming TX SUV. However, the teaser image does give a glimpse of the SUV's rear door, a side of the SUV's wrap-around tail lights, a small roof-integrated spoiler and a blackened C-pillar, giving a floating roof styling.

While Lexus has remained tight-lipped about the TX, the SUV is said to be based on Toyota Grand Highlander. The Lexus TX could also be a unibody SUV underpinned by Toyota's TNGA-K platform, ensuring better driving dynamics compared to other larger Lexus models, like the GX or LX.

The release of the official teaser indicates that Lexus could unveil the TX very soon. Once revealed, the Lexus TX will take on the German flagship SUVs such as the Mercedes-Benz GLS and the BMW X7.
