Mahindra had launched the KUV100 in the niche hatchback crossover segment in January 2016. To mark the completion of 1 year of sales of the KUV, Mahindra is expected to launch an Anniversary Edition of the vehicle. The brochure of this car has been leaked on the internet ahead of its official unveil.
According to the brochure, the KUV100 Anniversary Edition will get a dual-tone paint scheme. It will be available in two colour options - Flamboyant Red and Dazzling Silver. In both these colour tones, the A, B and C pillars as well as the roof of the vehicle will be finished in metallic black. The special edition model will also be equipped with 15-inch alloy wheels on the top end K8 variant, while the K6 and K6+ trims will get 14-inch wheels.
The interiors come will an all-black dashboard, though there are no feature-related or layout-related changes inside the cabin. The car also comes with a new upholstery design.
Additionally, Mahindra will also be offering some personalization kits with the KUV100 Anniversary Edition model. There are 4 personalization kits mentioned in the leaked brochure - Sporty Exterior Kit, Sporty Interior Kit, Premium Exterior Kit and Premium Interior Kit.
Mahindra is expected to launch the Anniversary Edition by the end of this month. This upcoming special edition model appears to be Mahindra's response to the recently launched Maruti Ignis, which competes in the same segment. Interestingly, Maruti is also offering customization options and dual-tone colour schemes with the Ignis.
