New details of the upcoming Mahindra Scorpio N are out thanks to a leaked owner’s manual.
The document reveals that the Scorpio N is longer, wider and taller than the Tata Safari. The SUV measures 4,662 mm in length, 1,917 mm in width, 1,870 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2,750 mm.
The owner’s manual also has handy diagrams of the dashboard showing the touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control and the twin-dial instrument cluster. The SUV will be equipped with the latest generation ESP, traction control, hill descent control, cruise control, drowsiness detection and 6 airbags. However, it is likely to miss out on ADAS.
The Scorpio N is likely to be offered with two engine options. These include a 197 BHP petrol engine from the XUV700 and a diesel motor producing 172 BHP and up to 400 Nm. The latter is expected to come with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
