Mahindra XUV700 bookings cross the 1.5 lakh mark

Around 1 lakh XUV700 customers are still waiting for the delivery of their cars.

Mahindra has announced that it has received over 1.5 lakh bookings for the XUV700. The milestone was achieved in less than a year since order books opened on October 7, 2021.

The Mahindra XUV700 was launched on August 15, 2021, at an introductory price of Rs. 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The demand for the model has been strong from day one, however, Mahindra has been facing supply constraints, which have led to long waiting periods. By June 2022, Mahindra had delivered 42,000 units of the XUV700. Around 1 lakh customers are still waiting for the delivery of their cars.

The XUV700 comes with two engine options - 2.0-litre mStallion turbo-petrol producing 197 BHP and 380 Nm and a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine that makes 182 BHP and 420 Nm (MT) / 450 Nm (AT). Both engines come with a choice of a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive will also be available as an option.
