It has sweptback headlamps, a V-shaped honeycomb grille, an air dam with horizontal slats, ORVMs with integrated turn-indicators, blackened A and B-pillars, wraparound tail lamps alloy wheels and a roof-mounted rear spoiler.

On the inside, the Baleno gets black interiors with silver accents. The car is expected to be equipped with features such as a multifunction steering wheel, SmartPlay infotainment system with a 7-inch touchscreen, climate control, split folding rear seats and more.

The Baleno is likely to be powered by 1.2-litre petrol and 1.3-litre diesel engines. Maruti could also equip it with SHVS (Smart Hybrid Vehicle from Suzuki) technology.
