Maruti Suzuki car prices hiked by up to Rs. 22,500

The prices of the Celerio and Swift haven't been increased.

Maruti Suzuki has increased the prices of most of its models with immediate effect. The prices are being hiked due to a rise in input costs.

The carmaker has stated that the weighted average price increase in ex-showroom prices (Delhi) across models is 1.6%. This translates to a hike of up to Rs. 22,500 depending on model and variant. The prices of the Celerio and Swift haven't been increased.

In January, Maruti Suzuki had increased the prices of the Alto and S-Presso by Rs. 34,000.
