McLaren supercar prices start from Rs. 3.72 crore in India

McLaren is said to have appointed Infinity Cars, Mumbai as its official dealer in India.

McLaren is set to enter the Indian market with a three-model line-up. This includes the 720S, 720S Spider and GT.

According to a media report, the 720S will be priced at Rs. 4.65 crore and the 720S Spider will cost Rs. 5.04 crore. The McLaren GT is the least expensive of the range. It will cost Rs. 3.72 crore (ex-showroom).

The McLaren 720S and 720S Spider are powered by a 4.0-litre, twin-turbo V8 engine that puts out 710 BHP and 770 Nm. The engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The claimed 0-100 km/h acceleration time is 2.9 seconds, while the top speed is 341 km/h.

The McLaren GT is a mid-engined grand tourer. It uses the same 4.0-litre, twin-turbo V8 engine as the 720S. However, in this car, the engine is tuned to 612 BHP and 630 Nm. It accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and has a top speed of 326 km/h.

It is said that McLaren will offer a pre-configured add-on pack with all three cars. This includes parking sensors, rear camera, front axle lift, 12-speaker Bowers & Wilkins audio system among other features. GT customers can get this pack for Rs. 29.77 lakh, while 720S and 720S Spider buyers will have to shell out an additional 43.31 lakh.
