Mercedes-Mythos to debut its first ultra-luxury model in 2025

Once launched, the SL will be available across all three of Mercedes' sub-brands: AMG, Maybach and Mythos.

Mercedes-Benz created a sub-brand called 'Mythos' two years back. The new Mercedes-Mythos sub-brand is positioned above the already luxurious Maybach and is all set to debut its first model very soon.

According to reports, Mercedes has confirmed that its first ultra-luxurious model from Mythos sub-brand will debut in 2025. Ahead of its unveil, the German carmaker released a small teaser of the upcoming model alongside its launch timeline.

The first Mythos branded model will be a super luxurious version of Mercedes-Benz's SL offering. Once launched, the SL will be available across all three of Mercedes' sub-brands: AMG, Maybach and Mythos. While the AMG version will be offered in both 4 and 8-cylinder engine options; the Maybach and Mythos versions will be powered exclusively by the 8-cylinder power unit.

Reports also suggest that the Mythos SL would be priced even higher than its Maybach version, somewhere around 300,000 euros mark.
