Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Select Plus launched in India

Mitsubishi has introduced a special edition variant of the Pajero Sport. The Select Plus, as it is called, comes with few feature additions, some cosmetic updates and new dual tone colour options. The 4x2 automatic variant is priced at Rs. 30.53 lakh, while the 4x4 manual trim costs Rs. 30.95 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai).

The Pajero Sport Select Plus comes with beefier claddings on the wheel arches, front bumper and doors. The special edition adorns new dual tone colour scheme with the A, B and C pillars getting a gloss black treatment. The front grille and alloy wheels have also been blacked out, while the door handles and ORVMs get chrome ornamentation. The special edition can be opted in four dual tone colour schemes: Black and White, Black and Red, Black and Silver and Black and Yellow.

Changes made on the Pajero Sport Select Plus aren't just cosmetic in nature. The car gets multiple feature additions, including cruise control, DVD player for the rear seat occupants, HID headlights, LED daytime running lamps around the fog light housings, chiller box and auto-folding ORVMs.

No mechanical changes have been made to the special edition Pajero Sport. The SUV continues to be powered by a 2.5-litre, four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine that churns out 176 BHP. With the all-wheel drive system, this engine develops 400 Nm, while the torque output for two-wheel drive model is 350 Nm.
