More images: Tata Tiago JTP

The first spy images of the Tata Tiago JTP had surfaced online last week. The car has been spotted again in Coimbatore and this time, the spy images reveal its rear end.

While, the Tiago JTP looks similar to the standard car, there are a few details that stand out. The test mule seen here has twin exhausts sticking out of a single muffler. The car has a lowered stance and appears to have larger wheels compared to the standard model. Camouflage on the rear bumper suggests that Tata may have made a few changes to it. Rest of the car looks close to stock with the integrated roof spoiler and side extensions as well as the rear wiper and defogger. On the front, the Tiago JTP gets a revised bumper and a bonnet vent.

The Tiago JTP is likely to be powered by a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine which makes 108 BHP @ 5,000 rpm and 150 Nm of peak torque @ 2,000-4,000 rpm and is expected to be paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox.

The Tiago JTP was unveiled at the 2018 Auto Expo. It is being developed in collaboration with Jayem Auto. That said, there has been no official word yet about its launch.
