A month or two ago noticed car had clocked 29k KM. It was 1PM and casually asked service center(Bharath motors Puttur) if they can get car serviced. To my surprise, advisor asked me to get car at 2PM. Dropped car at 2PM for service and had asked advisor to include only what was recommended by Suzuki. Car was washed, serviced- which included oil and air filter change, oil change, inspection, fluid top up etc. I was checking few cars and a Super carry at showroom and it was about 4PM. I was told car will be ready in another 30 min! 4:40PM service done and 5PM I am out of service center. 30K service bill was ~3.8K, yes you read that right! Alignment and balance was not done though. Due to lack of time had to get it done outside.
Service advisor mentioned one of the rear shocks might be slightly weak, though no major issues, can check thoroughly another day as the service center was to close in some time. Since there is no issue noticed while driving, decided to check another day and also was told might get covered under warranty.
Post service, due to few other commitments, had been using other cars and had not driven Swift much. Except for an impromptu and quick drive to Hampi on one of the weekends. Fuel efficiency in city remains at 12-15KMPL depending on traffic and highway efficiency is around 21-23KMPL. While the AMT is jerky, compact dimensions, good economy, reliability, car has served me well as a city car.
The Bridgestone Ecopia stock tires are holding well, touchwood- didn't have a single puncture so far. They are noisy and bit on the harder side, will last for another 20K or so. I had replaced stock bulbs with Osram night breaker laser immediately after delivery. They are quite decent and satisfied with performance and has lasted close to 3 years.
The car was quite dusty, however the grey color hides most of it
