My XUV700: Screens go blank more often after latest software update

I had stopped to pick up a colleague and when I started the car, both the screens were blank. Re-started the car twice but nothing changed.

BHPian Sommos recently shared this with other enthusiasts.

After owning my first M&M vehicle for the last eight months, I can safely second opinion that there is never a dull day in the life of M&M vehicle owners. I did encounter some software glitches during the first 7 months but the issues never persisted for long. Shut down and restart the car after a couple of minutes and whatever issues were there used to go away. Thus I never had much of a complain.

But after the last software update done by the SC on 09-02-2023, I have started noticing the blank screen issue very often - 3 times in the last one month, to be exact.

First time: (don't remember the exact date) It happened at my residence. The issue did not sort-out after a restart and I had no idea what to do next. So I dumped the car and took the Activa to wherever I was going. Next day morning, the car started as usual.

Second time: Date : 28-02-2023. This happened on the way to my office in the morning. I had stopped to pick up a colleague and when I started the car, both the screens were blank. Re-started the car twice but nothing changed. It was around 09:00 hours and the SC would only open around 10:30 hours. In utter frustration I slowly started driving the car, thinking somehow to reach office first and then contact the SC later and get the thing checked properly.

Hardly had we moved 200 metres, both the screens lit up, followed by the HHC sign. The following picture was taken after reaching office.

Third time: Date : 07-03-2023. The same issue croped up again today morning. Learning from the last experience I started driving the car cautiously. Just as it happened last time, within 200 - 250 mtrs. both the screens lit up followed by the HHC sign in the RH screen. After the things settled down, I took the following picture:
