Next-gen Force Gurkha launched at Rs. 13.59 lakh

The Force Gurkha comes with a 90 BHP diesel engine and all-wheel drive. It competes with the Mahindra Thar.

Force Motors has launched the new generation (2021) Gurkha in the Indian market. The off-roader is priced at Rs. 13.59 lakh (ex-showroom). Customers can book the car by paying a token amount of Rs. 25,000. Deliveries will begin in the week following Dussehra.

The new Force Gurkha carries forward a Mercedes G-Wagon inspired styling featuring a boxy exterior with circular LED headlamps, a redesigned bonnet with 'shark grille' on the sides and a snorkel. The new model is longer and wider than before and has more than 500-litres of boot space.

On the inside, the Gurkha comes with an all-black dashboard with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system that offers Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The SUV gets captain seats in the second row.

2021 Gurkha engine & transmission

The new Gurkha is powered by a 2.6-litre diesel engine producing 90 BHP and 250 Nm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, a low range gearbox and an all-wheel-drive system featuring manually operated, positive locking, mechanical differential locks on all four wheels.

The Gurkha is capable of driving up a 35-degree incline and can wade through 700 mm of water. The SUV rides on independent double-wishbone suspension at the front and has a rigid axle at the rear, with coil springs all around.

2021 Gurkha warranty

The new Gurkha is offered with a 3 year / 1,50,000 km warranty and 4 free services.
