Ola Electric ramps up production to 1,000 units per day

Ola will be opening the purchase window for remaining customers soon

Ola Electric is steadily ramping up production of the S1 electric scooter. According to the company's CEO Bhavish Aggarwal, the factory is now churning out 1,000 units per day.

Aggarwal has also confirmed that the company would be opening the purchase window for remaining customers soon.

Ola Electric had commenced customer deliveries on December 15, 2021. The company claims to have delivered nearly 4,000 S1 e-scooters to date.

The Ola S1 uses a 2.98 kWh battery pack that powers an electric motor that puts out 11 BHP and 58 Nm. The scooter has a claimed maximum range of 121 km. The S1 Pro comes with a 3.97 kWh battery pack, which is claimed to offer a maximum range of 181 km.
