Update at the end of almost 2 years of ownership.
A purchase that has increased my love for motorcycling and in hindsight was definitely worth it.
The device is still going strong with no signs of battery slowing down/charge issues.
The battery on only Bluetooth music with volume at 20%-40% lasts around 8 hours. (And this is enough for highway speeds for my ears).
Not sure if already documented but voice assistant can be activated by pressing the multifunctional button for 3 seconds (the voice dial function as mentioned in the manual), however in my case this is limited to Bixby (Samsung phone limitation) and that assistant is well behind Google and Siri, so can't comment on the efficacy of the mic in picking up voice commands.
I was impressed enough that for the second helmet that I purchased recently, I got a speaker kit for 1600 (1500+100 shipping) from Lazy Ass Bikers and used the clamp mount (with the clamp removed and 3M tape stuck on the back) provided in the original kit and decided to juggle the Parani between the two.
Finding the kit locally was difficult as stocks were not available and prices of any that were, were in the 2500 range.
Apparently, prices of all Parani products have gone up by around 20% and getting the kit at 1600 was a steal considering it's literally the same as the new one with no changes except the pricing. However, the product I received was imported in 2021 and was "old stock" as was expected.
Regarding the Bluetooth drop issue, the issue hasn't recurred since I changed my phone and I left it at that.
Overall, I'm very very satisfied with the product and highly recommend it to anyone who wants a fuss-free VFM device with good-quality speakers.
