After the Weld Shop, we were taken to the test track within the premises to witness the upcoming Harrier.ev in action.

This report has been jointly compiled with Libranof1987.

Earlier this year, Tata Motors announced that its EV sales had crossed the 2 lakh unit milestone.. The company also recorded the fastest EV drive from Kashmir to Kanyakumari with the Curvv.ev setting 20 national records. To celebrate these achievements, the carmaker invited the media, influencers and owners of its EVs to visit its manufacturing facility in Pune.

After an introduction and awards function, we were given a quick tour of the Harrier Weld Shop. Here are some images from the tour.

Safety instructions are clearly mentioned at the entrance:

One side of the track has two ramps, a water pit and a rough section:

To start with, the Harrier.evs came over the steeper ramp...

...and went up the same ramp again:

Then, they came over the less steep ramp:

Next, they went over to the other side of the track, which is round and drove in circles at high speed:

To end with, they performed synchronised moves around the cones kept in a line along the middle of the track:

Here's a video of the same.

Disclaimer: Tata Motors invited Team-BHP for the factory visit. They covered all the travel expenses for this event.
