Pre-production Tata Curvv Diesel SUV coupe unveiled

The Tata Curvv SUV coupe will also be offered with a pure-electric powertrain.

Tata Motors has unveiled a close-to-production concept of the Curvv SUV coupe. The carmaker has also shared details of the diesel engine that will power the upcoming SUV. It will also get a pure-electric powertrain.

The Tata Curvv SUV coupe measures 4,308 mm in length, 1,810 mm in width, and 1,630 mm in height, and its wheelbase is 2,560 mm. The exterior styling of the SUV is based on Tata’s latest design philosophy, featuring a modern and sporty-looking front end. It has an LED light bar similar to the Nexon facelift, with headlamps positioned on the front bumper.

The Tata Curvv’s coupe features flush-fitting door handles and flared wheel arches with black cladding all around. The rear of the car also bears a resemblance to the updated Nexon. It has a continuous LED light strip and a raked rear windshield. The SUV will get a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, an auto-dimming IRVM, 18-inch wheels and even ADAS.

The Curvv will be powered by a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine that produces 113 BHP @ 3,750 rpm and 260 Nm @ 1,500-2,750 rpm. The engine will be paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox.

The Tata Curvv SUV coupe is likely to be launched in the Indian market later this year.
