Production-spec Tata Harrier.ev showcased at Pune factory

The Harrier.ev will compete with the Hyundai Creta EV and Maruti Suzuki e Vitara.

Tata Motors recently organized a factory tour for EV owners and the media to celebrate 2 lakh EV sales and the successful completion of the fastest EV drive from Kashmir to Kanyakumari with the Curvv.ev.

Visitors got a rare glimpse inside the Harrier Weld Shop, where sheet metal is transformed into bodyshells of the Harrier and Safari. However, the highlight of the visit was the synchronized driving show featuring the upcoming Harrier.ev.

The Harrier.ev was first seen in pre-production form at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. More recently, an uncamouflaged prototype was spotted testing. The cars showcased at the event were most likely the production version of the Harrier.ev.

Four Harrier.evs were seen in action at Tata’s test track located inside the factory premises. The EVs drove over a steep ramp before heading out to a circular track and a slalom course.

Once launched, the Harrier.ev will compete with the Hyundai Creta EV and Maruti Suzuki e Vitara. It is expected to be offered with a dual-motor configuration and a 75 kWh battery offering a range of around 500 km.
