Royal Enfield Meteor rivalling Bajaj-Triumph bike spied

The new model is touted to take on the Royal Enfield Meteor as well as Yezdi and Jawa offerings.

The first images of the single-cylinder motorcycle from the Bajaj-Triumph collaboration have surfaced online. The new model is touted to take on the Royal Enfield Meteor in the Indian market.

The spy images suggest that the new bike will have a Triumph-inspired fuel tank along with a circular LED headlamp. The bike has a narrow tail section with grabrails on either side, a single upswept exhaust and bar-end mirrors.

The test bike is equipped with upside-down forks and has a mono-shock at the rear. It has a blacked-out engine with a triangular crankcase (note the Triumph logo).

The Bajaj-Triumph bike has been in development for quite some time. Last year, Rakesh Sharma, Executive Director, Bajaj Auto, had confirmed that prototypes were ready and that the company was planning to launch the bike in 2023.
