Rumour: Jeep Compass Trailhawk bookings open

Jeep dealers have reportedly started accepting bookings for the upcoming Compass Trailhawk. According to a media report, the booking amount is set at Rs. 50,000, while the official launch is expected around end-June 2018.

The Trailhawk will sit at the top of Compass range. It is an off-road oriented variant of the Compass featuring tweaked bumpers with exposed tow hooks and an integrated skid plate. Earlier spy images have indicated that the Trailhawk will get 4 parking sensors in the front and 6 in the rear with 'Trail Rated' badges, black ORVM housings and bonnet decal. It also gets 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. On the inside, the Trailhawk gets all-black interiors with red trim around the gear lever and like the standard Compass, its gets a touchscreen infotainment system.

The Compass Trailhawk will likely be powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine and will be offered with a 9-speed automatic transmission. It will come with Jeep's Active Drive Lock 4x4 System with the Selec-Terrain system offering 5 driving modes - Auto, Snow, Sand, Mud and Rock.
