Skoda VISION IN concept SUV unveiled

Skoda has unveiled its first concept model under the India 2.0 project. The VISION IN concept gives us a preview of Skoda's upcoming SUV for the Indian market.

The VISION IN concept will spawn a new mid-size family SUV based on the MQB A0 IN platform. It will debut in the early part of 2021.

The VISION IN concept measures 4,256 mm in length and has a wheelbase of 2,671 mm. It is powered by a 1.5-litre TSI turbo petrol engine that produces 148 BHP.

The VISION IN concept features a typical Skoda grille with vertical slats and slim twin-pod LED headlights. The fog lamps are placed below the main headlamps. The SUV has a dual-tone front bumper and a silver skid plate.

Moving to the side, the VISION IN concept features black body cladding and blacked out B-pillars. The SUV has slim ORVMs and a chrome frame around the windows. It has chrome roof rails and dual-tone 19-inch alloy wheels as well as a light strip at the rear.

The VISION IN concept has a dual-tone interior with orange accents. It has a 12.3-inch infotainment head unit, 3-spoke steering wheel, customizable virtual cockpit and a crystalline assistant in the centre of the dashboard. The SUV uses shift-by-wire for the 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
